A Good Beer Blog is the playground of Alan McLeod, clearly Canada's favorite and surely unparalleled beer culture critic. Author of five books on beer including 2025’s Empire Beer, a history of brewing in the great state of New York published by SUNY Press. Not a consultant on the side. Shuns junkets. Beer community denier. Spits. Wants a Double Double. Unpopular globally.
